Teddies and Friends is  open to anyone who makes bears or other furry animals, wants to develop what they know and is willing to share their knowledge with other makers of these delightful creatures.  

Membearship currently stands at over 200 membears coming from all over the world and includes many well known, highly acclaimed international bear artists as well as people who make bears purely as a hobby for friends and family.  Click on the link in the menu above to visit some of their sites.

As many of us are either in business or trying to turn this into a business there are group rules to limit the amount of emails we receive and to prevent anything unwanted or time wasting being sent but members are allowed to post requests for help and to aid development regular themes are put forward for discussion that can be bear or bear business related for example bear subjects like armatures, making claws or airbrushing or bear business subjects like advertising, insurance or web site design, which is also available as a special rate service for anyone without the time to do it themselves.

Membears can also join our Teddies and Friends Web ring linking their websites of to other bear makers in the group and later on we hope to introduce a Teddies and Friends website that will provide a showroom for some of the work we do - see below
