Kovar was modelled on a bear I saw in Yellowstone National Park he was hand sculpted from various wools over a wire armature by repeatedly adding, shaping and working raw wool with various felting needles until it forms the desired core shape.

Once the core is built more wool is added and repeatedly worked to build up the various muscle structures, face and body shapes that give Kovar his final realistic appearance, he has an open mouth and pink tongue to further enhance his realistic appearance.

The internal structure means he can be repositioned to take on a variety of different poses

To obtain this level of realism and density it's a very slow process which took over a week to complete
