Hand Dyed Rainbow Bears - Moonbeam |
I don't normally have time
to make bears for shops but the ladies at Harlequin Collectables are so
nice I couldn't refuse. Moonbeam and a couple of her friends were
commissioned by Harlequin Collectables in Cheshire and designed to suit
their preferences. Eventually I will show a picture of all four but
this shows Moonbeam who is now living in her lovely new home with

Materials |
Wonderfully soft hand dyed kid mohair
Her tummy, face, ears and tail were made using straight or wavy versions
of the beautiful 100mm pile Schulte VVL that was hand dyed a few
strands at a time and the paws have a shorter 25mm version but everything else has
the wavy 43mm pile.
She has individually hand moulded paw pads, a hand painted face and hand painted glittering
eyes
